ILT20 has created a clear pathway for UAE cricketers from domestic to professional cricket, according to MI Emirates' Muhammad Rohid.

Rohid was signed by MI Emirates for $140,000 at the ILT20 auction, making him the fifth-most expensive signing.

He credits the league for accelerating his growth through exposure to top T20 players like Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Shakib Al Hasan.

In Qualifier 2, Rohid took 2 for 19, dismissing Brandon McMullen and Liam Livingstone, after being told he would play 10 minutes before the toss.

Rohid hopes his journey inspires young UAE cricketers to believe they can achieve their dreams through the ILT20.
