Gyaneshwari Yadav battles to silver, bronze for Bindyarani Devi

Gyaneshwari Yadav won silver in the women's 53kg weightlifting at the Glasgow CWG with a total lift of 199kg.

Nigeria's Onome Omolola Didih won gold with a total lift of 206kg, setting new Commonwealth and Commonwealth Games records.

Bindyarani Devi secured bronze in the women's 58kg category with a total lift of 199kg.

India's Raja Muthupandi won silver in men's 65kg on Sunday with a total of 286kg.

Gyaneshwari Yadav set a new Commonwealth Games record in clean and jerk with 111kg.
