Two-Wheeler Major Raises Rs 500 Crore Through NCDs via Private Placement; DII Stake Increases

TVS Motor Company allotted 50,000 non-convertible debentures worth Rs 500 crore via private placement at a coupon rate of 7.30% per annum.
The NCDs have a face value of Rs 1 lakh each, are unsecured, and will be listed on the National Stock Exchange of India.
The debentures have a tenure of 36 months, maturing on July 17, 2029.
Domestic Institutional Investors increased their holding in TVS Motor to 21.13% in the June 2026 quarter from 18.84% in the March 2026 quarter.
Interest is payable annually, and a default penalty of an additional 2% per annum applies after a cure period.
