Indian-origin man pleads guilty to manslaughter after fatal M4 crash in West London

Maninder Singh Brar, 28, pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter after a fatal crash on the M4 in west London.

The crash on June 1 involved Brar's black BMW colliding with a white Volkswagen Golf; he then left the scene.

Mohammad Hagila, 63, died at the scene; his wife Dil Jan Hagila, 62, died days later in hospital.

Brar also pleaded guilty to causing death while uninsured, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, handling stolen goods, and failing to stop.

Brar is scheduled to be sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on August 23.
