CM Dhami inaugurates Kalash Bandhan Maha rally in Bhagwanpur on 650th birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ravidas
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Kalash Bandhan Maha Rally at Chudiyala, Bhagwanpur, on the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ravidas.
Dhami offered prayers at the Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Temple and carried the ceremonial Kalash to the event venue at CMD Inter College.
Dhami said the rally aims to spread Sant Guru Ravidas's message of social harmony, equality, and humanity, emphasizing that greatness is determined by deeds, not birth.
He highlighted central and state welfare schemes including Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as steps toward an inclusive society.
Development projects in Bhagwanpur include flood protection works worth Rs 12 crore, a beautified lake for Rs 3 crore, a modern school for Rs 49 crore, a Block Public Health Unit, and a new tehsil building for Rs 8 crore.
