Bengaluru Development Minister proposes raising footpath riding fine to Rs 5,000

Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda proposes raising footpath riding fine to Rs 5,000, a tenfold increase from current penalty.

He urged the Transport Department to increase the penalty and asked traffic police to strictly enforce parking rules.

Additionally, he called for relocating bus stops near major junctions to improve traffic flow.
