Cashless scheme govt commitment to teachers’ health security: UP deputy CM Pathak

UP deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said the Chief Minister’s Teachers’ Cashless Medical Scheme demonstrates the government’s commitment to teachers’ health and social security.

Twenty-five professors and principals received health cards under the scheme at National PG College in Lucknow on July 26, 2026.

The scheme provides cashless medical facilities up to ₹5 lakh to over 1.28 lakh regular and self-financed teachers and their dependents.

Eligible teachers are covered by an accidental insurance of ₹3 crore.

Health cards are issued in collaboration with Punjab National Bank as a guarantee of health security.
