HSGMC takes over management of Miri Piri medical institute

HSGMC has taken over management of Miri Piri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Shahabad, Kurukshetra.

The institute was previously managed by SGPC through Miri Piri Trust.

HSGMC president Jagdish Singh Jhinda said the takeover was peaceful and that HSGMC will deposit June salaries of ₹1.36 crore.

Jhinda requested SGPC to release salaries for April and May, threatening legal action if they fail.

Jhinda urged staff who left due to salary backlog to rejoin, as OPD and other services have resumed after a strike ended on Friday.
