Jhundan misleading Panth with alliance claim: Wadala

Akali Dal (Punar Surjit) secretary general Gurpartap Singh Wadala said Iqbal Singh Jhundan was not authorized to announce an alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De).

Wadala accused Jhundan of misleading the Panth and Punjab for narrow political interests by announcing unconditional support to another faction.

Wadala stated Jhundan could join any party if he disagreed with the organisation's ideology, but had no authority to announce an alliance on its behalf.

Wadala questioned Jhundan's motives, saying he should have strengthened the Panthic political platform instead of distancing from it.

Wadala said Jhundan and associates failed to build the party organisation in their districts, calling the move a betrayal.
