Pete Davidson transforms into mobster in 'Tommy Karate'

Pete Davidson portrays mobster Tommy Pitera, a Bonnano crime family member nicknamed 'Tommy Karate' for his martial arts skills.

The first official black-and-white image shows Davidson's dramatic transformation with a slicked-back wig and dark suit.

Director Justin Chon praised Davidson's growth, calling the portrayal 'talented' after a long journey.

Pitera was convicted of murdering six people and supervising a drug operation, receiving a life sentence in 1992.

Davidson co-wrote and produced 'Tommy Karate', developing the project for over three years.
