Step inside former Princess of Tripura Reeta Dev Varma's Delhi home with unique blend of art deco charm, modern comfort

Reeta Dev Varma, former Princess of Tripura and founder of Ila Trust, opened her Delhi home to Architectural Digest India in November 2023.

The home was re-decorated by designer Adil Ahmad, blending art deco charm with modern comfort.

The entrance features a blue-painted door guarded by two snakes, flanked by charcoal wrought-iron doors, with terrazzo flooring.

The hallway includes modern metal lanterns, wrought-iron chairs, celadon paint, Art Deco stone jali, and works by Charlie Mackesy.

The dining room has a contemporary wrought-iron dining table and chairs by Adil Ahmad, plus artworks by Bernard Buffet.
