Ludhiana: Burglars steal teaching aids from govt school during summer break

Burglars stole teaching aids from Government High School, Kakowal, in Ludhiana during summer break (June 1-30), causing a loss of nearly ₹3 lakh.

Stolen items included three projectors, five CPUs, six keyboards, six computer mice, six speakers, and six remote controls.

All eight CCTV cameras at the school were allegedly damaged by the burglars before the theft, disabling the surveillance system.

Headteacher Jasminder Kaur filed a complaint, and an FIR was registered at Jodhewal police station on July 29.

The school lacks funds for immediate replacement and must wait for the education department's next grant to purchase new equipment.
