CPM commends TN govt for resolving long-standing Karur land dispute

CPM Tamil Nadu Secretary P Shanmugam praised the Tamil Nadu government for resolving a long-standing Karur land dispute.

Shanmugam criticized Hindutva groups' narrative regarding the dispute.

He urged the state to file a review petition against the Supreme Court's order on eviction of forest-dwelling communities.

He also called for a stay on the Supreme Court order, citing the unimplemented Forest Rights Act.
