Apple to lease iPhones for $17.99/month

Apple launched a leasing program called Apple Upgrade with Klarna, offering iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads, and Macs for a monthly fee.

Customers can lease an iPhone 17e for $17.99 a month over 24 months, with other models like iPhone 17 ($23), iPhone Air ($29), and iPhone 17 Pro ($32).

Lease periods are 12, 24, or 36 months depending on the device; at the end, customers can upgrade, buy the device, or return it.

Apple Upgrade replaces the iPhone Upgrade Program and iPhone Payments in the US; existing users can switch when eligible.
