Jalgaon: No Compromise On Rural Healthcare Quality, ZP CEO Karishma Nair Tells Health Officials

Zilla Parishad CEO Karishma Nair directed health officials in Jalgaon district to ensure quality healthcare in rural areas, warning no compromise will be tolerated.

Nair instructed Taluka Health Officers and medical officers of Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Rural Hospitals to take personal responsibility for improving healthcare delivery.

She reviewed health scheme implementation and assessed the rural healthcare system's functioning, calling for regular monitoring and proactive steps to address shortcomings.

Nair directed officials to remain alert for dengue, malaria and other vector-borne diseases during the monsoon, and to conduct timely surveys for early detection and treatment.

She ordered speeding up the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign to protect adolescent girls against cervical cancer, urging 100% vaccination coverage.
