Delhi Police bans drones, UAVs for Independence Day security till Aug 16

Delhi Police banned drones, UAVs, quadcopters, and aerial platforms in Delhi from August 2 to 16.

The ban is for Independence Day security, citing intelligence inputs on terror threats.

The order was issued under Section 163 of the BNSS, 2023.
