FDA suspends licence of three prominent Bhendi Bazar Mughlai restaurants

FDA suspended licences of three Mumbai restaurants: Shalimar Hotel, Noor Mohammadi Hotel, and Rehmannia Hotel in Bhendi Bazaar.

Licences suspended for not adhering to hygiene standards, including lack of insect screening nets, improper segregation of non-vegetarian food, and missing food stock records.

Noor Mohammadi had thick black oil on floors, open windows near kebab section, unhygienic raw material storage, and no pest control drainage.

Rehmannia had inadequate food storage, doors without insect-proofing, rusting equipment, and missing food and water quality testing records.

Shalimar failed to address 25 deficiencies from a prior April 16 inspection, including wet kitchen floors and lack of raw material records.
