CM Devendra Fadnavis Lay Foundation Stone For Annabhau Sathe Training & Research Institute, Calls For Strict
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis laid the foundation stone for the Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Training and Research Institute (ARTI) and a grand memorial at Chirag Nagar in Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
The project, built by the Mumbai Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA), will include a 20-metre bronze statue, a digital gallery, a library, study halls, a competitive exam guidance center, and a skill development unit.
The memorial is expected to be completed by July 2029 and will cost Rs 305 crore.
Fadnavis emphasized that rehabilitation of affected residents is a priority and that the project will be executed transparently by the SRA.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced an allocation of approximately Rs 300 crore for the project and noted Sathe's works are translated into 27 languages.
