'Criticising him isn't justified': Sikandar Raza defends Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza defended 15-year-old India opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after his difficult debut T20I series in England.
Sooryavanshi scored 14, 13, and 15 in three T20Is against England, falling twice to Jofra Archer's short-ball.
Raza called Sooryavanshi a 'generational talent' and urged patience, saying criticising him after two or three matches isn't justified.
Sooryavanshi scored 175 off 80 balls for India Under-19 in the World Cup final against England in January.
Raza emphasized proper management of Sooryavanshi, who is expected to open in the T20I series against Zimbabwe starting Thursday.
