Flipkart ordered to pay ₹1.8 lakh for wrong delivery

A Mumbai consumer court ordered Flipkart and seller International Value Retail Pvt Ltd to refund ₹1,11,793 and pay ₹70,000 in compensation and costs.

The complainant ordered an Apple iPhone 14 Pro on Flipkart for ₹1,11,793 but received beard growth oil instead.

The court held that repeatedly closing the complaint without effective relief constituted unfair trade practice and deficiency in service.

Both the e-commerce platform and seller were found jointly and severally liable for the loss and inconvenience.
