Young couple die after being crushed by train in Delhi; police suspect suicide

A couple aged 23 and 20 died after being hit by a train between Okhla and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations in Delhi on Sunday evening.

Police suspect suicide but no note has been recovered; inquest proceedings initiated under Section 194(1) of BNSS.

The couple were residents of Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh; the man's identity document helped establish their identities.

The woman's family had learned about the relationship about 10 days ago; the couple left their village three days prior.
