Pune Crime: Businessman Cheated Of ₹5.7 Crore In Illegal Land Sale; 5 Arrested

Lohegaon Police arrested five people for allegedly cheating businessman Ravindra Sakla of ₹5.70 crore by illegally selling his land without consent.

The accused are Subhash Uttamchand Dugad, Rajendra Uttamchand Dugad, Sandesh Ashok Bhansali, Sheikh Umar Latif Inamdar, and Bhaskar Reddy; Narayan Kallari Reddy is also named.

The land is 1 hectare 8 acres (48 acres) in Lohgaon, Survey No. 163, Hissa No. 8/1A/2, and the offense occurred between 2010 and September 2025.

The accused allegedly sold the land among themselves via sub-registrar offices despite an ongoing civil dispute over ownership, causing wrongful loss to Sakla.
