Delhi HC refuses bail to former MLA Naresh Balyan in MCOCA case

Delhi Police's chargesheet alleges Balyan used political influence to financially support Sangwan's syndicate and shield members from arrest.

Balyan allegedly communicated with Sangwan via encrypted messaging apps and VPNs, using phones registered to family members to evade detection.

A special judge noted the criminal nexus between a politician and a gangster as a perilous threat to the nation.
