Ramanathapuram: Villagers protest liquor bar fearing for women's safety

Villagers from six villages in Ramanathapuram protested against a new private liquor bar in the Pamban tourist area.

They cited safety concerns for women and children as the reason for the protest.

The protesters submitted a petition to the District Collector.

The District Collector has promised to take action on the petition.
