Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma defended Keshab Mahanta, saying adult children can have different political beliefs and parents should not be attacked.
Sarma disagreed with the slogans raised by Dibisa and said he will talk to her and try to make her understand that her statements were not right.
Keshab Mahanta has not commented on the issue.
