A leopard killed Bhagyashree Sandeep Ware, a 5-year-old girl, in Pimpalsuti, Pune's Shirur, at 2:45am.

The girl's family was sleeping near a cattle shed in a farm during a sugarcane harvesting migration.

Villagers have demanded immediate action from the Forest Department following the attack.
