Amar Chitra Katha’s next comic to celebrate Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s aviation milestones

Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) has been commissioned by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to produce a comic titled 'HAL: The Force Behind the Forces'.

The comic chronicles HAL's 86-year journey, from assembling the Harlow PC-5A to developing the HF-24 Marut and manufacturing MiG-21 and Sukhoi-30 in India.

The cover features HAL's Prachand LCH, HTT-40 trainer, Dhruv ALH, and Tejas LCA.

Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar is featured for donating 700 acres and ₹25 lakh to establish HAL.

The story is presented as a museum tour led by a guide named Mr Rao, introducing students to HAL's history.
