Lindsay Clancy murder trial: Why jurors are visiting family's former Duxbury home

Jurors in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial will visit her former home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on Friday, accompanied by prosecutors, defense attorneys, and the judge.

The visit includes touring the interior and exterior of the home where Clancy allegedly killed her three children in January 2023, but jurors are prohibited from touching items or opening doors.

Jurors will also view a CVS store and a restaurant that Patrick Clancy, the ex-husband, visited on the night of the killings.

First responders testified on Thursday about finding Lindsay Clancy in the snow after she jumped from a second-floor window, and discovering the children in the basement.

Clancy's attorneys admit she strangled the children with exercise bands but argue she suffered from postpartum psychosis; prosecutors assert the killings were premeditated.
