Chandigarh authorities swing into action day after MP Tewari flags railway station traffic ‘mess’

MP Manish Tewari flagged traffic mismanagement at Chandigarh railway station on X.

Senior rail officials, UT Police, and Chandigarh Road Safety Society conducted a joint survey on Monday.

Traffic police installed “No Parking” barricades along the main approach road to curb illegal parking.

Work began to fill potholes at the CTU bus stop and widen it by removing part of the adjoining green belt.

The old rail engine near the station entrance will be removed to create additional space for the bus stop.
