Mumbais First One-Stop Centre For Women Survivors Of Violence To Open At CAMA & Albless Hospital Soon

A One-Stop Centre for women survivors of violence will open at Mumbai's CAMA & Albless Hospital.

The 24x7 facility will provide medical care, counselling, legal aid, police support, and forensic services.

It is Mumbai's first such centre within a dedicated women's hospital, aiming to reduce stigma for survivors.

The centre will include five beds for women requiring immediate care and short-term support.

Minister Aditi Tatkare announced free health screening camps and upgrades to hospital equipment and staffing.
