MCD-facilitated PM Vishwakarma Scheme enrols over 41,000 artisans in Delhi

PM Vishwakarma Scheme enrolled 41,411 artisans in Delhi from January to July 2026, facilitated by Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

,015 artisans completed basic skill training, 117 received toolkits, and 225 loans worth ₹1.89 crore were sanctioned, with 214 loans of ₹1.79 crore disbursed.

Applications progressed: 13,086 got Stage-1 approval, 7,938 cleared Stage-2, and 2,619 reached Stage-3.

SLPMU onboarded 44 artisans onto Amazon's e-commerce platform and held awareness sessions on artificial intelligence for over 200 artisans.

Workshops at Okhla, Connaught Place, Uttam Nagar, Tagore Garden, Sant Nagar Burari, and Ashok Vihar aimed to raise scheme awareness.
