Musk responds to proposal for Gibson-directed Odyssey remake

Elon Musk replied 'I'm down' to a proposal to fund a $100 million historically accurate adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey directed by Mel Gibson.

The proposal was posted by X user @martianwyrdlord and suggested using historically accurate ships, weapons, armor, and Homeric Greek.

Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon, opened to $265 million worldwide but faced criticism over casting and historical accuracy.

Musk also stated Grok Imagine will produce a full-length historically accurate movie of The Odyssey by year's end.
