RoshAi makes the trucks you already own drive themselves

RoshAi, founded in 2021 by Roshy John and Rajaram Moorthy, sells retrofit autonomy kits and fleet software to convert existing trucks and heavy vehicles for industrial use.

The company's retrofit hardware provides drive-by-wire control, and its software stack supports Level 4 autonomy for defined areas like ports and mines.

RoshAi's cost argument centers on labor savings, citing that five trucks running 24/7 need about fifteen drivers, and India faces a shortage of skilled commercial drivers in the millions.

RoshAi has raised ₹22 crore in April 2026 led by IAN Alpha Fund, with prior seed funding of about ₹15 crore from Caret Capital, Ev2 Ventures, and ThinKuvate.

The company's systems have been tested over 100,000 km without a safety incident, and it is also applying its software to precision manufacturing, such as electronics.
