Elizabeth Waddell’s Grenada disappearance leaves Cary community in shock: ‘We are still praying’

Elizabeth 'Liz' Waddell, a 44-year-old physical therapist from Cary, North Carolina, disappeared while staying at an Airbnb in Grenada.

Grenada authorities expanded the search with underwater teams and a K9 unit, and released a security camera image from the Airbnb.

Waddell's husband, Cailen Waddell, remains in Grenada and stated that investigators believe there was 'no foul play' at this stage.

Waddell is the founder and head physical therapist at Art of Movement Physical Therapy and taught dance locally; community members have formed prayer groups.

An online fundraiser has raised over $18,000 to support search operations and travel costs.
