Drunk man kills pregnant wife in UP's Mahoba; child helps police nab him

Hanif, a man in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba district, killed his pregnant wife Manisha Mansoori with a sickle while drunk.

The couple's five-year-old son told police that Hanif attacked his mother with a sickle, leading to his arrest.

Police became suspicious after Hanif gave changing accounts of the incident, although he initially reported her death.

The victim was eight months pregnant, and Hanif was addicted to alcohol.

A murder case was registered, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination.
