Pune Railway Station To Face 9-Hour Block On August 2; 7 Trains Cancelled - All You Need To Know

Central Railway will run a 9-hour traffic and power block at Pune Railway Station on August 2 from 8am to 5pm for track upgrades.

The work includes replacing DDS Point Nos. 232 and 226 on the Pune–Daund section with new 60-kg capacity points, plus signalling, telecommunication, and overhead equipment works.

Seven trains are cancelled: Pune–Talegaon, Talegaon–Pune, Pune–Lonavala, Lonavala–Shivajinagar locals, CSMT Mumbai–Pune Express (11007), Pune–CSMT Mumbai Express (11008), and Pune–Daund DEMU.

Several long-distance trains like Jaipur–Pune, Nagpur–Pune, Amravati–Pune, Jammu Tawi–Pune, and CSMT–Pune Express will terminate at Khadki or Hadapsar instead of Pune.

Outbound trains from Pune will originate from alternate stations; passengers are advised to check revised schedules via NTES app or railway enquiry portal.
