Varanasi teacher brands hot knife on five-year-old’s private parts for urinating in pants, booked

A teacher at Sareen Soni Play School in Varanasi allegedly branded a five-year-old student's private parts with a heated knife for urinating in his pants.

The teacher, Preeti Kushwaha, reportedly took the child to another room, heated a knife on a gas stove, and used it to burn his private parts after he was denied permission to use the washroom.

An FIR was registered against Kushwaha, the school principal, and management at Lalpur-Pandeypur police station under sections 115, 118, and 351 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The child's father, Kesari Jaiswal, alleged that the school took no action when he complained on July 25, prompting him to approach the police.

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav called the incident 'extremely serious' and demanded immediate action.
