Miri Piri Khalsa march commences with call for panthic unity

The Miri Piri Khalsa march dedicated to Miri Piri Day commenced on Friday from Akal Takht to Takht Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo.

The march carries the message of sovereignty of Akal Takht and panthic unity.

Akal Takht acting jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj led the march, emphasizing the principle of Miri-Piri bestowed by Guru Hargobind.

SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami stated that the Miri-Piri principle provides an unparalleled balance of spirituality and social responsibility.

Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Badal joined the march, calling for every Sikh to participate to promote Sikh principles.
