Alpha box office performance under ₹100 crore

Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, is the first female-led spy thriller from Yash Raj Films, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as assassins, with cameos by Hrithik Roshan and supporting roles from Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.

The film opened with ₹9.25 crore domestically and earned ₹34 crore in its first weekend, but its box office performance declined sharply, ending week 1 under ₹50 crore and earning less than ₹20 lakh by its third Monday.

As of July 22, 2026, Alpha's worldwide gross stands at ₹98 crore (₹58 crore net in India plus $3 million overseas), falling short of its reported ₹100 crore budget and estimated ₹120-125 crore break-even point.

Alpha is the second consecutive YRF Spy Universe film after War 2 to fail to break even, marking a financial disappointment for the franchise.
