Father-in-law & son-in-law arrested for robbing trader of ₹6.5 lakh

Pune city police arrested Sohel Khan, 35, Jayant Rajnikant Shah, 59, and Tausif Bagwan, 30, for robbing a trader of ₹6.5 lakh in the Swargate area.

The robbery occurred on July 9 when the trader was returning home with his daily cash collection.

Jayant Shah, who had worked for the trader, shared the trader's schedule with his son-in-law Sohel Khan, who carried out the robbery.

The accused committed the crime to repay mounting financial debts.

The stolen cash was recovered, and investigation is ongoing for possible similar offences.
