Jalgaon: New Conserver Honoured By The Book Of Indian Records For Wildlife, Environmental Conservation

New Conserver from Jalgaon district was honoured by The Book of Indian Records for wildlife conservation, environmental protection, biodiversity research, and nature awareness.

For 31 years, the organisation has led campaigns against illegal tree felling in Satpura mountain ranges, Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary, and Gautala Autramghat Wildlife Sanctuary.

New Conserver conducted extensive biodiversity studies at national parks including Manas National Park, Kanha Tiger Reserve, Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve, Melghat Tiger Reserve, and Jim Corbett National Park.

The organisation created a national record by simultaneously publishing five comprehensive coffee-table books on the biodiversity of Manas National Park in Assam.

The five books cover mammals, birds, flora, reptiles/amphibians/fishes, and insects/spiders of Manas National Park.
