Shabana Azmi diagnosed with swine flu, misses student protest after being advised five days of isolation

Shabana Azmi has been diagnosed with swine flu with a fever of 102 degrees.

Doctors have advised her complete bed rest and five days of isolation.

She missed a scheduled student protest at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on July 25, 2026.

Earlier, she participated in the CJP protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, supporting students over NEET exam irregularities.

During the Delhi protest, she suffered an asthma attack due to tear gas exposure.
