Aarti's mother Sujatha Vijayakumar reveals why daughter asked ₹40 lakh per month in divorce case; Ravi Mohan hits back

Chennai Family Welfare Court turned down Aarti Ravi's plea for ₹40 lakh per month in maintenance in her divorce case with actor Ravi Mohan.
Aarti's mother, producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, said the ₹40 lakh request was not for Aarti alone but to cover debts caused by Ravi, including a bank 'japti' notice and children's school fees.
Sujatha detailed that the court ordered Ravi to pay ₹86 lakh annually for the sons' school fees, ₹3 lakh per month to Aarti, and ₹1 lakh per month per child, plus extracurricular costs.
Ravi Mohan responded on Instagram with a cryptic note thanking friends, accusing others of contempt of court, and stating 'the 4 of us will not ever be in the same room together as long as I am alive.'
