Man jumps before moving train at Bengaluru Metro station, dies; yellow line services hit

A man died by suicide after jumping before a moving train at Bengaluru's Huskur Road Metro station on July 27, 2026, around 5:50 pm.

The incident disrupted services on the Yellow Line of the Bengaluru Metro.

BMRCL switched off traction power as a precautionary safety measure.

Train services were temporarily restricted to the Electronic City–Bommasandra section.

Police are investigating to identify the deceased.
