Informal poll shows Costa Rica's Grynspan ahead in race to be next UN chief

An informal UN Security Council poll showed Rebeca Grynspan as early frontrunner for UN secretary-general.

Former Costa Rican Vice President Grynspan leads the race, followed by Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett.

The poll was conducted by UN Security Council diplomats as an initial assessment.
