From a village in Haryana to Rajasthan Police: Widow who once didn't know the full form of RAS is now a DSP

Anju Yadav, born in 1988 in Dhauleda village, Haryana, grew up in a farming family and completed Class 12 in a government school.

She married at 21, had a son Mukuldeep, and after facing family difficulties, returned to her parental home.

Despite losing her husband, she pursued civil services preparation while working as a teacher.

She cleared the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Examination 2021 in her first attempt, even though she initially did not know the full form of RAS.

She now serves as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Rajasthan Police.
