Ed Harris wanted to quit 'Dutton Ranch' feeling 'underused'

Ed Harris considered quitting the 'Yellowstone' spinoff 'Dutton Ranch' over feeling 'underused and inconsequential' during the first season.

Harris plays veterinarian Dr. Everett McKinney opposite 'Yellowstone' alumni Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser.

The actor said he felt 'misled' because the creative team told him he would be a main character before filming, but that was not the case.

Harris asked his team to 'get me out of here' after expressing his dissatisfaction to production.

The upcoming second season is promised to give Harris increased screen time and depth, with filming set to commence shortly.
