King’s review was published in ‘Twilight Zone’ magazine, calling ‘The Evil Dead’ ‘the most ferociously original horror film of 1982.’

Raimi said King’s support was crucial because no distributor would touch ‘The Evil Dead’ before King’s endorsement.
