Cong women’s wing files complaint against Kangana Ranaut over remarks on young generation

All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) filed a complaint at Hussainganj police station in Lucknow on August 1, seeking an FIR against BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut.
The complaint alleges Ranaut's remarks on the Jantar Mantar NEET paper leak protest were derogatory towards protesting students, women, and the younger generation.
AIMC national coordinator Anamika Yadav said Ranaut referred to Gen Z girls as the 'gutter generation', adding that Ranaut represents women and the remarks are unfortunate.
UP Congress president Ajay Rai said the statements insult protesters and the entire new generation, women, youth, and their parents, inciting outrage and social discord.
The complaint demands securing original video, audio, and social media posts as evidence and taking penal action as per law.
