Panchkula: 14-year-old girl killed, cousin injured in hit-and-run case

year-old Sakshi Dhiman died and 17-year-old Jatin Dhiman was injured when their Activa scooter was hit by a speeding white car (HR03Y6925) near Shahpur village in Raipur Rani on July 29, 2026.

The accident occurred around 1 pm on the road between Shahpur and Narayanpur villages; both victims fell onto the road after impact and were taken to Raipur Rani Civil Hospital by passers-by.

The car was allegedly driven by an unidentified woman, and police registered a case under Sections 281, 106(1), and 324(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for rash driving and causing death by negligence.
